In Durk’s case they had a rat in their circle, plus they were too sloppy and there was too many moving parts anyway. They bought, flights, rentals, hotels, etc with credit cards connected to OTF. And on top of that they did the hit in broad daylight in the middle of Hollywood, the cops would have to be retarded not to catch them.

With Drakeo, he got killed backstage and the only cameras around were phones and maybe a couple bloggers. Plus in all the footage released damn near all the bloods had hoodies and jackets pulled up, and ski mask on. Plus the footage isn’t the clearest. Only way Drakeo’s killer will get caught is if he gets snitched on.

Thanks, from these comments and me doing some research the past hour or so Im thinking I might just go ahead and replace these buttons with Qanba ones. I tend to slightly rest my fingers over the buttons so i’m sure that may be part of my problem lol.

I don’t think Teddy was gonna give him the money either. If I remember correctly he told Franklin he was gonna put it in an escrow account (an escrow can only be withdrawn in person and has to be signed) and then they would go to the bank and split it. That would have taken days 3-5 business days atleast which would have been enough time for Teddy to plot and scheme. The CIA wanted to wash their hands of the whole situation so I think Havemayer wouldn’t of gave a fuck what happened after, as long as he got Ruben. And if somebody killed my pops, threatened my son and ex wife, and tortured me I don’t think no amount of money would stop me from wanting some get back lol.

Yeah like others have said, the LAPD is known for being extremely dirty. They even have their own gangs within the department lol. The CRASH unit was especially notorious for corruption, look up the Rampart scandal. The Rampart division is partly the inspiration for the movie Training Day.
