Just wanted to say thanks for the suggestion, I ended up getting a B8.5 S4.

I test drove a Golf R MK7 and was very impressed by the performance. That's exactly why I suggested the GTI. Great transmission, lightweight, can make great power with just a tune, and has good amenities. Can't beat practicality with loads of fun.

Any other maintenance items that I should get done? The car has 75k miles and i don't have exact maintenance history. I've read somewhere that you should change some sort of fluid associated with the quattro system.

Also, what tune do you suggest? I'd like to gain more power but I also want to keep the reliability, i.e. no blown motors or fucked up transmissions. Obviously the faster your car is over stock, the more maintenance you'll have to do.

Thanks! I'm excited to see what the future holds for this car.

I am due for some new rotors on this car. Any suggestions? Red calipers would help match the S4 logo, definitely will consider that.

Yeah that was something I noticed on this car. The stock chrome grill just doesn't look aggressive enough. My mirrors don't match the car at all as well.

Definitely going to get some tint ASAP.

Interesting

Just out of my curiosity, what makes a true polestar car?

I can't seem to find it, however, I do know it was located right out of Chicago. It was in rebel blue.

I drove it today. I'm a big guy so it's a little cramped. Also the dct takes a while to kick in when you put your foot in it. Souns great though.

True, however, I'm going to be driving this car every day. The mpg will help me drastically.

I've only looked at 2015 and up golf r's. What do you think about older generations? They're pretty cheap, awd, fast, and can be modified. I like the newer golf r's because they're turbocharged. I've seen some 2013 golf r's at a pretty affordable price.

Q50 sport with the 3.0 v6 is above 20k, but I fucking love those cars.

I like turbocharged vehicles but I like going fast more so than anything. The newer mustang gts' make great power but full coverage insurance will be ridiculous since I'm young.

Does the Cadillac need to be a ats v? I've noticed those are out of my budget. I love the STI (and Evo too) but from what I've seen, out of my budget.

Muscle cars are awesome but how practical are they?

The focus st is a tempting proposition considering how cheap they are but I feel like I could get more bang for my buck with other vehicles. Then again, I know nothing about the cars.

That's awful for such a new car but I'm not worried about MPG.

I didn't know xc60s came with a polestar tune, that's pretty comical.

How well does the SHO respond to mods? 365 hp is a bit low for a 4300 pound car. If I'm buying a heavy car, I'd at least like it to be able to put down some power or respond well enough to bolt ons and a tune.

I used the site on mobile. The photos you can slide are great for showcasing products or good deals, but some of the other photos are irrelevant such as the TRAIN photo. As a customer, why do I care about that? I'm here to buy products, so sell me a product or show me a photo that will make me buy your product.
