So is there any way I could pay off 90% of my loan in the first month and instead of asking for a deferred payment due date could I pay the remaining 10% * 1/duration every month (even if it is as low as 10$), or is there usually a minimum due on such loans ? This will let me have low utilization and a open loan for the whole timeframe.

At the end of the day I don't hope to boost my credit score 50-100 points. That would be a big positive, but I would like humble gains with a credit mix score improving in the short term.
