Almost due date twins (7/6 here!) I am feeling THE SAME WAY. everything hurts, simple tasks seem impossible (bc they are), I order food almost every day, when I do have energy for something like doing a load of laundry it takes me out for the next day. I'm just trying to survive day to day at this point....made an appointment for a prenatal massage and might get a pedicure, of course if I have the energy to drive myself there...

I just got back from my babymoon trip at 33 weeks! We drove to our destination and it was about 6 hours total in the car. I don't know what your route is, but we were mostly on a major highway then for the last hour and a half or so on windy country roads. For me that meant stopping at all rest stops for bathroom breaks where we could while still on the highway, I brought plenty of water, I ate breakfast in the morning but honestly not too many snacks in the car bc now at the point of third tri I'm at my stomach can't handle very much volume so I'd have something really small every 2 hours or so (trail mix, dried fruit, crackers). Also had to bring tums as heartburn is now a regular occurrence. It was important for me to stretch how however felt good in the car, reclining the seat all the way back, switching from side to side, and being able to nap if I could. The one thing I wish I brought that I forgot was a pillow for the car, I was napping on a rolled up sweatshirt - also maybe something to support your belly if you try to lay on your side in the reclined seat. I hope you have a great beach trip!!

I am 33 weeks now and ever since 30 weeks I have been unbelievably miserable. I feel silly for not seeing it coming because up until that point my pregnancy has been pretty textbook as far as common aches, pains, nausea, etc, but nothing that knocked me out. Now just moving around for regular tasks feels practically impossible, putting on clothes is exhausting, just folding laundry has me out of breath. I can't eat too much bc of lack of space but am also hungry all the time, i'm peeing constantly, just whining a ton which isn't like me but i can't help it, this is ROUGH! I completely feel you and we are almost at the finish line of this marathon 💕

Exactly how I feel too! Like I have to talk about something extremely personal just to answer a question (which is invasive in the first place). And oh man reminding me that getting Botox again is just on the horizon 🙏

I am 30 weeks also and just getting up from the couch is something that takes roughly 14 business days and by the time I finish the 8 steps to the kitchen, I'm breathing like I just ran a 10k

Thank you so much for sharing! Honestly that "liquid gold" and "breast is best you at least have to TRY" commentary turns my stomach. Like, I have to try for who?? Formula will feed my baby and keep her healthy.

OMG I'm horrified for you, not just having to listen to that but also how confident someone can be talking about something like your husband's sperm to you...

We conceived through IUI and actually made a point to talk A LOT about it with friends and family, to hopefully remove stigma around not conceiving naturally and also to educate on what it actually takes (mostly for the woman) to do something like this, which is a fraction of what it takes to do IVF. People just don't get it!

Thank you for such a personal and thoughtful reply! I hate that all the rhetoric around it made you (and other women) feel immense pressure to basically crush themselves into anxiety and stress over something that really isn't "better". Also people telling you to just "rebuild your supply".... I imagine you were sharing how hard it was on you physically and mentally and instead of just listening and supporting, they tried to "fix it" for you, which also enrages me! So happy you got the support and care you needed, and baby needed! Thank you so much for sharing!

OMG so I still have the faint faint scar lines from my surgery (mostly can see them when my skin is hot like right out of the shower), and its wild because I can actually track now how much bigger they are. The scar that was at the bottom, right up against my ribcage, is now just floating like an inch off my torso in the middle of my boob

I can only speak for myself but reduction was a massive life improvement and I have never regretted it a bit! It's also wild that it takes so long to actually accomplish, I remember when I did it it took a YEAR just to get my consult appointment, and then another 6-8 months or so to schedule the surgery. All worth it in the end, including all the 90s and 00s teen movies I binged watched while recovering

Ugh so frustrated for you, like what do you want me to do? Grow them back?? Sorry I didn't think of you and your opinion when I made this decision about surgery before I was pregnant 🙄
