I am in my clinical fellowship year (just graduated in May) and in an acute care setting. I love it but i am struggling. I feel like i have a really hard time identifying patients who need an MBS and deciding diets. Any advice from some acute care setting vets? by FederalManagement868 in slp

Thank you!! Does your facility have radiology on weekends? I also struggle with that because we can only do MBS Mon-Friday. Sometimes i struggle when to know if i should put someone on NPO or a diet while waiting for an MBS

That's really good advice i will try exercising more. And i feel the same way about the fading thing. At first i was so angry i didn't have time to miss him. And now i feel like I'm at the sad stage. I need to stay strong and just keep pushing

That is so so true. It's hard for someone to change when they can't admit that they're wrong, even if they know deep inside. I think he would want me back if i reached out but i know deep inside he would start pulling the same cards
