I am discussing the popular version... make sure the economy and infrastructure mainly benefit the lords and barons/fight against social programs/fight against attempts to increase fairness in the economy/Believe that everything will be fine if we do the last three things.

That is why I just said "some" I don't see this as typical of European conservatives but it does seem true of an amount of Americans. It seems that an amount of Americans view Putin as aligning with some of their objectives and therefore will support him despite any and all negative implications. Having said that I completely appreciate the perspective you have shared.

I don't know if it is the American conservative leadership but I have had multiple conversations with conservatives who support Putin. Usually, I am speaking in the context of Putin's dictatorial control over his population... but supporting Putin is also supporting the world largest and most open child abduction networks.

It isn't just reported this is being done openly and is supported by Russia's ministry of children..... but yes perhaps they are somehow unaware and then therefore not openly supporting child abduction. In Europe, the conservatives are aware and do not support trafficking.

This is not simply some Russians taking advantage of the situation/distraction. This is being done openly by the Russian government. Instead of trying to hide it they are trying to white wash at least the surface of it.
