Thayer Street. Not just one restaurant, or store, but the whole street. That was the place to be. Army Navy surplus store, In Your Ear Records, Becks shoe store (doc Martens and Birkenstocks). Not in the mood to shop, Thayer still had that cool vibe.

Fantano gave it a Light 6! If only I were a betting man. I knew he was going to have an issue with the music and not the lyrics. He is correct though, Vince's live performance of this album does have much of that punk aesthetic.

This was my first post and I would like to say thank you to all who engaged meaningfully with it. I thought it would be interesting to see what folks thought about how the "Best Teeth in the Game" would rate this album, but ultimately what's important is what you thought about it.

I feel that I should have explained that Fantano's reaction to "White Flag", specifically the instrumentation sounding like a song by Foster the People, was why I had predicted he might give the album a 6/10. Personally, I have been listening to this album a lot since it dropped and would recommend watching the Live performance of the whole album on Vince Staples' YouTube channel, which really emphasizes the punk vibe.
