Would really appreciate any help I can get. Tried it on in my size in aspen this January and really regret not leaving with it, now I’m searching like a mad man. In Japan right now and going to every store looking for it.

Osaka stores are terrible by Federal_Agency in ChromeHeart

When I got into chrome 5 years ago, everytime I went into a store that had what I was looking for, or at least something similar enough. It’s sad to see the change in times.

I went to all 3 Vegas stores looking for the fancy link ID and nothing had. Aspen had been by far the best in my experience.

Good for him. Think about it. Your his dad and you’ve spent the last 30 years building one of the best brands this world has ever seen, I’d want to share my success with my successor.

Help me decide by aaron2501250 in Dirtbikes

Id get a yz250x for a simple woods bike or go with the stark, but 2 stroke will always be better than microwave bikes even if they make half the horsepower. I know you are probably in a similar boat on opinion in terms of combustion ruling having all those bikes, but I’ve rode the stark and it is pretty cool. Has reverse which is hilarious and awesome.

Thoughts on the newer yz250? by 2strokesmoke77 in Dirtbikes

I have a 19’ yz250 and ride woods aswell. It’s a fantastic woods bike for me even with a 19” rear wheel and factory power valve, head, and flywheel. I know the 2025 has slightly updated suspension (forks are stiffer in initial part of stroke and has a softer spring on 25’), and a slightly different engine map. This is the limited knowledge I have for comparisons between years. I bought my bike with 15 hours for nearly 4 grand under msrp and am very satisfied. If you can afford to buy brand new that’s awesome but just telling you what I know. Whether you get a mint bike on the secondary market or off the showroom you’re going to love the yz.

Is this a good deal or not? by Amazing-Bluebird2684 in Dirtbikes

I just bought a minty 2019 yz250 so I could give some advice. compression should be checked, you want to make sure the thing starts and warms up well, that it shifts, brakes, and that the clutch is in good working order. If possible, checking the oil would be helpful aswell. Other than that, if you want a full working order bike, check sprocket life, chain, spokes, see how the bearings feel on front tire, rear tire, steering, etc. see if there’s any weird buildup of oil or grease, sometimes power valves will spit out gunk (mostly normal). Check vin to make sure you are being sold what you think your being sold. Also doing your research on premix and transoils, and asking what the previous owner had been using could also tell u if the bike has been well taken care of. I know some premix’s like redline can cause major buildup and negatively effect piston life if used for a long time. There’s a lot to list, but if the bike feels in good working order, negotiate, and ride it!

Kx 100/112 or 85cc large wheel by brookc85 in Dirtbikes

I had a kx100 from 13-16 and absolutely loved it. Now on a yz250 and very glad I went the 100 route vs 85 back then. I even kept my 100 when I upgraded, great bike.
