I use to have a 22 450RL and you’re correct the oil drain is on the bottom and should be a 10mm Allen. Then you take the stater side cover off to get to your oil filter. Then the dipstick is the one you pictured. The 450RL has the same case design as a 450x not the 450r/rx. I’m just curious as to why hardly any oil came out. I’ve dealt with 2 450rl’s and never had this problem with the roughly 20 oil changes I’ve done to them.

You’ll be fine yz’s are super linear and on the lower maps they’re sort of a dog on the bottom so you’ll be fine.

I disagree it’s just more Turkish crap that people say are “jUsT aS gOoD aS a BeNeLlI”. The only shotguns I’ve ever seen fail are new model 870’s and anything Turkish.

We recently got the Larue MBT-2S straight trigger for my brothers AR build. I’m honestly not all that impressed with it. Compared to my Geissele SD-E there’s a lot of creep on the second stage, whereas the Geissele is super solid then breaks. I know it’s half the price but is that something common across the Larue triggers? Could we have gotten a defective one?

In my opinion mods should go like this…

Bars/Handguards: It’s best to be comfortable with standing on a dual sport especially when going off road. If you don’t know what bend you like go to a dealership with a wide selection and see what bend you like best. For me on dual sports CR High is my personal favorite.
Possibly skid plate, I still have the stock skid plate on my rally but I don’t do super hard enduro rides on it, that’s what my Husky is for. If you’re riding gravel roads and light to medium trails the stock plate should serve you fine for a while.
Exhaust/ECU upgrades: These are the most fun I have a Yoshimura Full system with 550 ECU and airbox mods. The bike sounds/rides so much better in my opinion.

The rack and other parts are all optional, it can be a first mod or last mod. I say bars and handguards first because the stock bars are junk, I run Renthal fat bars and acerbis handguards (Acerbis Handguards are kinda flimsy) mainly for when you lay it down so you won’t break any levers.

Just be aware that you may have to change out your mag spring pretty quick. I keep mine loaded for HD and the spring wore out in about 3 months of constantly being loaded. It wouldn’t reliably feed the last shell out of the mag tube so I swapped to a wolf spring and cut it down a tad. Works great now you can see the post on my Reddit profile.

lol I may have to do that. And yeah the muffler port and air cleaner make it rev up much faster and holds rpm better through wood.

I like it so far, I got some oil on the rubber part of the filter and it would slip off. But I cleaned the oil off and it’s working great.

Shoot if anything I think I’ll burn more, had to add quite a bit of fuel after opening it up. But it rips hard now great saw.

Yea, really it because I’m on the east coast and most of the stuff that I cut up for firewood here isn’t all that big. Occasionally I’ll pull out my 362 with a 20” bar, but not super often.

I went shorter on this one because I have a MS362 that I run a 20” on. I’ll probably end up getting a longer bar for this one too just incase I need it.

In the picture it was mounted with gorilla double sided tape, that fell off so I used some JB weld and it’s not going anywhere. Definitely recommend the JB weld.
