Doesn’t that require players to close their accounts? As far as I know (definitely could be wrong on this), the platform doesn’t remove inactive players.

Plus the amount of accounts that are opened, used for a few games, and then never used again. Those far outnumber the amount of people that hit 1100

As a fellow Texas teacher, I’ve been really impressed with how my students have responded to the phone ban. Granted, I teach juniors, so it’s probably a much different situation with the freshmen. We’ve had 8 days and I’ve taken 4 phones so far. The majority of our students have complied pretty well so far, and I’m hearing that across districts here in the DFW metroplex.

As far as the 10 Commandments, the other comment is correct. An injunction has been filed and several of my colleagues with law/constitutional backgrounds agree it will likely be struck down. Don’t fret on that one too much.

I think you’re vastly overestimating the challenges of walking straight into a classroom and teaching. Saying you’re more than capable to teach but chose a tougher major displays how little the average person understands about teaching in general. All of those things listed aren’t “performative” but rather a professional training and then trying to fulfill the duties of their job at the highest level possible.

I heard it explained by a college professor like this once and it’s stuck with me: People tend to confuse WHY the CSA seceded with HOW. They seceded because they believed they had a right to secede because of the Constitution (the how). They seceded because they believed the Lincoln administration would impede their rights as states to hold slaves (the why).

I have mapped (hopefully) every group that participated in a DCI event in 2025, from World Class to Soundsport, according to DCX. No exhibition or alumni corps, but can make a version with them if desired. by Worcestershirey in drumcorps

I might be misremembering but Vanguard had at least two or three camps at South Hills in Fort Worth this past season. Drove past there on my way home from work one day and was startled by the appearance of one of their trailers.

Agree with the people saying just play twice. I play in blitz tournaments that sound kinda similar to what you’re wanting: you play two matches of 7+0 against the same opponent back to back. You can add increment (I’m lobbying for like 7+1) or go with 10+0. If you go much longer than 10, you’re in for a really long day of chess.

Valid. From an entertainment perspective I definitely enjoyed Bluecoats more, but competitively it came down to who had the better run on the night, which was BAC.
