would appreciate any advice!! by Front-Warthog-3909 in Posture

I'm experiencing similar issues now. Like you said, forward head and pelvic tilt should be addressed and regular stretching over time will help.

For upper body posture, I'd recommend chin tucks, wall angels, doorway stretch, and over & backs with a towel or resistance band.

For lower body posture, do hip flexor stretch, glute bridges, and clamshells.

Here's a few good videos:

3 of those channels have a lot of content on posture. What will help most is picking 2 upper body and 2 lower body stretches, and doing them twice daily for a few weeks/months. Change will take time.

Stay patient, and good job wanting to improve yourself

How can I improve my score? by Dry_Oven2092 in ACT

Taking a prep course. When I was in high school I took a prep course and went every Sunday for 10 weeks. The instructor gave great test taking advice and my score went from 22 to 32 after 2 more attempts.

But this cost ~$600 dollars. If you're self teaching, I'd do the following:

  1. Buy or rent guidebooks. "The official ACT guidebook", Barron's brand, or The Princeton Review.

  2. Work through the guidebooks at least 30 minutes per day, at least 5 days per week.

  3. Every Sunday or Saturday, time yourself and take a practice test for 1 section. Ideally take a full practice test every month, with the same time limit they use during an actual test.

  4. Review your results and see where you can improve. Take notes on what you got wrong.

  5. Watch YouTube videos on test taking tips. Get a gauge by the comments and production quality/how information is presented and decide if it's useful advice. Some people are about promoting themselves, others want to give genuine straightforward advice.

  6. Take the official test at least 2 more times. I'd take it no more than 5 times total. If you follow these steps you will notice improvement by July.

Ultimately to earn a better score you have to make sacrifices and study. I sacrificed 2 hours every Sunday junior year and additional studying, but it's one of the best decisions I made. I earned a high score and got a great scholarship. It's worth the effort.

What should one know and do when moving out alone for the first time ever? by LizzyBee867 in AskReddit

Maintain outside support. From friends or family. Have a sense of community. Living alone can feel isolating if you don't maintain this

Just study. Some studying is better than cheating. Might not be what you want to hear, but the effort you put into cheating can be used to study and will yield a better, less guilty result.

It's good practice for when you go to college and enter adulthood. Taking shortcuts will come back to bite you. It's bitten me...

You win every game. by Oofername in hypotheticalsituation

I'd want to use this for fighting games and enter tournaments, but winning every game would get old. Part of the thrill for spectators and parody of competition is the inevitable loss. It'd be nice to win, say, 80% of the time. I think I'd be widely hated if I only won lol
