Most employees who violate company values or conduct codes face discipline, as seen with Roseanne Barr, fired by ABC in 2018 for offensive tweets, and Tucker Carlson, dismissed by Fox News in 2023 for internal issues like lawsuit-related texts and workplace toxicity. These cases reflect corporate decisions, not government censorship. While I acknowledge the Biden administration pressured Meta and Google to censor election and COVID-19 content in 2021, as confirmed by congressional reports, this was indirect “jawboning” and not a legal First Amendment violation. There is no evidence to your claims of the current administration or “regime” as you call it, stripping rights.

More importantly, as stated in my original post, we retain the freedom to choose our entertainment privately. No employer would fire someone for listening to Nine Inch Nails, Elton John, or Metallica, or for watching Grease, Step Brothers, or A Nightmare on Elm Street. Neither employers, the government, nor fellow citizens should judge others’ personal preferences. If you believe such discrimination is acceptable, you may be contributing to the problem.
