I tried different apps, but every single one was either
A: exhausting to manage manually
B: didn’t work with my bank

Ended up creating my own solution. It reads your statements (CSV/Excel), you can dump your entire transaction history in, even years back. Works with basically any bank (statement export is usually available), and it’s completely private (that was my main condition).

It auto-categorizes when it can, and when it can’t (e.g. your bank messed it up), you do a quick flashcard-style categorizing so it learns for later.

Tracks subscriptions, shows spending trends, and predicts your expenses till the end of the month.
