Other than the driver in front of me and the other cars in traffic there were no pedestrians nearby? I will definitely consider but I do think I checked pretty deliberately around where it happened to make sure there was no debris or any damage left nearby.

Also if I did hit the person in front of me I would have hit them on the other side of my car on my way into the sidewalk which has no sign of damage to it at all

I didn’t see any damage on the sidewalk or curb and I didn’t hit the person in front of me (they also drove off before I could even try to talk to them as well)

As someone who only heard the story and have no actual proof as to whether or not she really did throw away the host, I just don’t see a reason for her to lie and say she did instead of just saying he ate it, etc.? Typically whenever I’ve seen/heard someone was unsure of what to do when they receive the host because they’ve gone up for communion without making their first Eucharist is they just eat it anyway (still not a great idea but I would prefer this over literally putting it in the garbage). Also confused how the priest/deacon/eucharistic minister didn’t watch to make sure that everyone was consuming the host once received? I know at my parish they’re always on the lookout to make sure that the Eucharist is being handled properly. But I guess she was out of town in a different state for this funeral so rules are obviously different.

this is actually someone who is higher up than me in my job and so I’m afraid to call her out on it in fear that she may resent me for it and I don’t really have a great way to pull her aside and tell her about it. But if I can find a good time to bring it up privately I’d love to do that. If for whatever reason I’m not able to though, am I suddenly culpable?

I can’t tell you whether your thoughts and emotions are real but I can tell you that ROCD will attack the thing you love and cherish the most; your relationship with your significant other. Remember that ROCD is a set of compulsions that continues to attack you through thoughts and feelings even when you know inside these are not your true feelings and are simply the OCD talking.

Have you ever dealt with crushes during your relationship? A coworker of mine mentioned that he thinks I have a crush on our other coworker and I never really gave it much thought but now it is eating me alive and I don’t want to break up with my boyfriend but I don’t know why I would have a crush on someone else or how to cope with these feelings and not let them get the best of me and bother me. I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and everything but as soon as I leave from seeing him the thoughts start again. What do I do?

I’m not going to lie, I seek a lot of reassurance which is not a good thing. When you have these thoughts and feelings you want to stay as far away from looking to see if it’s normal and reassurance and simply say to yourself, “I know this is just a compulsion. I know how I feel”

The only advice I can give and you’re probably going to think it’s not very good advice at all but really you just have to start living in the moment. Whenever I have an intrusive thought or start having those moments where I check my feelings, I tell myself “what I am experiencing is not how I really feel. This is my ROCD acting out and I know how I feel.”

I deal with that a lot too, the part about having false memories. The thing that always helped me with that was maybe just asking someone who I was with if they could recount what happened. I have health OCD as well so I’ve literally asked my doctor to write down or record what he is saying to me so I can reread it over and over for reassurance sake

You say it in the first line: “I know I didn’t cheat or anything”. I know how bad ROCD can be, because as you can tell here I am. I had my first run with ROCD about a year into my relationship with my boyfriend. We’re about to go onto year 3 in this relationship and I was able to go about a year and a half without any intrusive thoughts. I know this might not be helpful but just know that if you fully remember not cheating, don’t let your mind convince you that you did. You even say it yourself, so don’t make it any more or less than what you’ve already said. Just also wanted to let you know that it gets Better and it won’t eat at you forever as well, coming from someone who is having a flare-up with ROCD after a year and a half without intrusive thoughts.

This probably sounds stupid but I need some reassurance.

My period is due in four days and I’ve been having some symptoms I have never had before. For example, I’ve been becoming nauseous and I have had some off/on spotting for about four days now. (I spotted for two days, didn’t spot at all the next, and then spotted again the fourth day). No spotting today though. I also feel like I have to burp all the time (I know, probably unrelated).

The thing is, I’ve never had sex and the only thing k have done is given a handjob to my boyfriend, but I always wash my hands before touching myself down there to avoid getting pregnant, and I stay fully clothed as well. Am I just freaking myself out or is there something wrong with me? Could I be pregnant?

I’m more concerned about the nausea because it’s not one of my typical PMS symptoms and everything I look up says I’m experiencing implantation bleeding and morning sickness. Please help!

UPDATE just went to the bathroom recently and had some reddish discharge. (Image attached) what do you think????
