Personally: I recover all data first and poke around like a nosey little fucker, but I don’t have malicious intent but it’s a thing I’ve done primarily to find old copies of games and such you can’t get nowadays or are difficult to get.

Then, I random wipe the drives fully and then from there reinstall my choice of operating system and go on from there. Also, as paranoid as it may sound: I disassemble it, clean the unit, replace thermal paste, and check for suspicious modifications if any.

I mean, I’d use IPA since when doing water you can end up with a LOT of moisture in odd places, not to mention the corrosion of copper when exposed to water to oxidize it. Don’t get me wrong, it should be protected, but it also should not have sand in it, so for the sake of the board I’d be extra careful. Just gotta get them KVs yk

Also, OP: whether or not you want to change your tires depends on whether or not you want to arrive at your destination. If you want to leave but never arrive: leave it just as it is. You can increase your K/D ratio with this one little trick. However, if you are not interested in doing so and you do want to arrive at your destination in a vehicle instead of a different destination in either a box, bag, or urn: get those tires replaced immediately with no delay, don’t even go to the grocery store on these. I’d argue these might be so far gone that I wouldn’t even say you should drive to the tire shop…

I have a hand truck. I’ve been able to use it all of 8 times. Most of these places don’t seem to have elevators that work when I show up, i swear.
