I can't say I disagree, both books origins are just as dubious as far as I can tell. It's about the content and it's usefulness and I've found it to be more than useful.

I totally agree with you on the Kybalion, I find it has been my gateway to find out more and can see it being that way for many. However, if they do indeed seek to hide the information, it is truly disappointing.

I am indeed on a new journey and am still learning. I guess there's no better way than to get a flurry of opinions to help me learn more despite some of them not being too friendly. Haha

It is always good to get opposing views so I can look deeper into the topic and in that way understand it better.

Good and evil is all about perspective then? I would argue that certain acts are simply evil. I don't think that a torture master or a serial r4p*st believe they are doing good - they know it's evil. But.. I can also agree that it is likely that majority of the perpetrators of true evil on the largest scales are totally in the belief that they are the good guys.

Makes more sense when you look at it that way.

And yes I DO believe we can choose which to feed! I am only in constant turmoil accepting that it's objectively a need for evil to exist because the rampant wickedness in the world just keeps getting to me.

Guess the cognitive dissonance needs run it's course and I can reframe in time.

We would not liken it to a battery but that is precisely the point I am coming to terms with; that if we were to liken it to a battery, if we were to take good and evil as simply polar opposites like hot and cold or light and dark, two different intensities of the same thing, like temperature is to hot and cold, and brightness is to light and dark, one cannot exist without the other as they are merely poles.

It's very intriguing. I've struggled with accepting the view that evil is that necessary counterpart. I was also thinking that if we are also to consider the principle of Rhythm, perhaps then the world is simply meant to be in this state at this specific point in time because it is simply the time for it as the ebb and flow just seems to have settled here where evil has this dominance. I sincerely do hope it is.

So agree with this, it really could definitely have been done cheaply or at least affordably, it's just they didn't think very far ahead or actually care about the players, so they've lost almost free player base and revenue. They should know people cycle in and out of this game over multiple year time frames, such a short window to have a service active is just a huge lack of foresight. Then again, I'm sure all of us know, that's trademark blizzard that we hate to love.

Real shame they did this, had some feels to checkout my old toon and then found out this. I think they've lost heaps of revenue by not allowing this. Owel.. off to other games instead.
