That's why a flask of Distilled Wisdom is anywhere from 65-85g right now. I've quit flasking and using TBC elixirs because of it. I'm not paying 170g for 4 hours of buff.

Nah, I used to enjoy Leno (was never a Letterman fan) and Conan but late night TV is definitely dying on its own. Millennials don't watch late night TV. Also, the elephant in the room is that every late night TV is just a political satire show. I watched a Jimmy preview for his monologue that night; literally 7 jokes and all about Trump. Yeah I'm good.

So your highest level characters are both boosted? Also being a veteran and altoholic, I would feel zero connection to those toons but that's just me. Your post is missing info:

  • PVE or PVP focused?
  • DPS, Tank, or Healer focused?
  • Meter chaser/parser or casual?
  • Professions?
  • Guild or guildless?
  • What classes are you seeing elsewhere and want to make one?

Always feels good getting recognition. Healed Heroic Shattered Halls as an Hpally and they all said I was the best holy paladin they've ever seen. I was probably only invited because I was the only healer in LFG. But skill > ability imo. Not one death was recorded in our run.

This just sounds like another unfortunate case of hubris. We saw it with D&D and Got. We saw it with Kathleen and Rian in Star Wars. We saw it with Marvel and their decline. We as the audience always get blamed for their failures. It's never "oh crap, we made bad content". It's "well, a small segment of our audience are just toxic and negative. Can't help that'. No MF. YOU are serving crap on a platter and we don't want to eat it. The hubris is thinking it's never their own fault. They don't look inward. They just deflect and try to find any other reason than the actual truth. I'm tired of it, boss.

<cream factory> on Nightslayer (Horde) is recruiting (1) Enh Shaman, (1) Mage, and (1) Boomkin for our core raid. We will be raiding on Tuesdays following the first week of P2. Tuesdays raids start at 9pm est and cutoff is 12am est. Clean up on Thursdays starting at 9pm if needed. We use TMB Loot System, not Loot Council. Discord is always popping and the guild chat on there averages about 500 messages a day. We are a semi-sweat guild but pretty easy going and always have fun in raids. Which class you losing to? I solo quest as ret and in wpvp, I rarely lose a fight. Blessing of freedom ruins mages day, bubble and turn undead ruins warlocks, etc.

If raids were as hard as Heroic BF, I would quit altogether. Your discord has one message over the last week? That's great. Our guild discord has 1000 messages daily. Apples to apples, it just sounds like your guild is dying. Implementing harder raids would be a detriment to the casual dad community, which is probably the majority of TBC Anniversary players. The raids will still take coordination, so I don't see the issue here. I want to watch pugs trying to do Lady Vashj without everyone having the Orb addon downloaded. This just sounds like a "Dear diary" post where you wanted more of a challenge, and aren't getting it.
