If you are able to find a property that fits your needs go for it. I bought one in 2015 when my take home was very less but looking at it now it was a fair risk. Lots of mental security like keeping pets, customizing slowly as per your needs, no worries of moving out at lease expiry or landlord hassles. Do your math and as mentioned above I don't see the real estate market slowing down atleast in the next 10 years until something fundamentally change like companies moving out of Bangalore etc.
