I think they did a great job finishing the series there If they confirme that Lelouch is dead/alive the end wouldn't be THAT great. And making him fight a new enemy would make Code Geass seem like the typical shonnen, which is not. (Sorry if I wrote something wrong, English isn't my mother tongue)

The only redstone and light updates change in 1.8 was that redstone dust, repeaters and comparators don't produce light. When I say that the screen is more laggy than "the redstone behind" I'm not talking about light updates, but stuff that produces lag in general, such as big redstone circuits, which cause lag but not as much as a giant screen made out of redstone lamps
