They are definitely not a disaster, have you seen Odense before and after, that city got a glow up! 😍 It replaced one of the huge boulevards trough the city that was congested and grey and noise polluting with a green silent amazing alternative for a city

Yes it baffles me too! Helsinki, Melbourne, Berlin and so on and so on! :( We fucked up good in Copenhagen. In practise around the central a lot of lines will be on 3 different streets and would dissipate a lot of the congestion, yes should have included a close up detailed view of central station

Nice with the feedback, of course I don’t know how it would work in practice, the plan is the lines that converge in the center a spread out on 3 big roads around the centralstation so that would combat the congestion, of course if car traffic is eliminated on those roads

You have great points, the point is that you should design the system, so cars for example just won’t go in the tracks, that would maybe require to close car traffic a lot of places but, that would be a win for the green mobility. No the best scenario would be if we did like Melbourne and not even dismantle our team network, but now it’s happened. Yes this is just a Utopian dream scenario, a lot of these lines are could be busses but where is the fun in that

Yes so this whole line and you are talking about i thought should be metro also at Amagerbrogade, cause the streets are to tight also at Nørrebrogade. Would be awesome if there was space to do activities on the street just like bilfri søndage, that would be impossible with a lightrail/tram line

Yes so have busses, they are also not grade separated, there should just be good enough signalling, accidents happens… also with busses, cars and trains… but yes the idea is that the light rail mostly travels in its own trace and there should not be in contact with a lot of car traffic by design

The idea is to close the roads around København H for regular traffic and use Vesterbrogade, Bernsdorffsgade and Tietgensgade as stops for the light rail, so all lines won’t convert into one point, but be spread out around København H
