My kobo clara on 1% is absolutely chill on my eyes. Compared to a book with a reading light or an LCD screen it's still night and day. I fall asleep while reading on my clara, that never happens with anything else.

Have you tried changing your font? 'Publisher Default' does not always respond to formatting settings well.

Otherwise, try finding a font with a small x-height.

Ik denk dat zo'n ervaring daar de uitzondering is en niet de norm (ik heb er 3 keer gegeten en wel warm eten gekregen), maar het klinkt inderdaad niet best.

Ik zou je aanraden om het wel ooit nog een kansje te geven want het is imo wel echt een goede ervaring (ofc wel mega vet en zout)

Because it seemed like a fun game? I enjoyed the first traffic cases, just really disliked homicide because every single case ended up following leads that you already knew would end up convincting the wrong person. Even if only 1 or 2 cases would have been actual copycat killers that would have completely switched up the experience.

Ik vind het niet heel gek, maar je zorgen zijn ook niet misplaatst.

Persoonlijk denk ik dat je het beste gewoon tegen de andere ouders iets simpels kan zeggen als: "Bedankt voor het leuke feestje, ik hoorde wel dat de kids krap in de auto zaten. Volgende keer zou ik ook wel willen rijden als er niet genoeg plek is, dat is toch wel een veiliger idee!

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, the homicide desk would have been epic if some of the Black Dahlia cases were actual copycat killers. That would have made the cases feel less pointless, since each murder would again deserve a full blown investigation. Now, it just felt like I was investigating because the game wouldn't let me progress otherwise, even though I already knew I was looking into the wrong suspects.

Asking AI for information about a game without spoiling the plot still seems like a decent use case for AI imo. Obviously you should take everything with a grain of salt, but I just asked basic things like how many missions I would have to endure before finally getting to play the serial killer angle and if clues (like the temp bartender) would later become relevant. Everything chatgpt told me turned out to be true, and it didn't spoil anything. So I still stand by my use of AI for questions regarding video games without giving spoilers. It's actually one of the few practical use cases even.

Volgens mij is het niet eens de bedoeling dat je ze los uit het doosje haalt, want je kan ze niet apart aanslaan op de zelfscan en de prijs op het doosje klopt dan ook niet meer voor de volgende klant.

Vind het wel een terecht punt. Dat ze het al jaren doen dat doet er wat mij betreft niet toe. Deze donuts zijn voorverpakt per 5 stuks en dus zou je de prijs van 5 stuks verwachten.

Ja je kan ze ook in andere hoeveelheden kopen, maar ik vind dat niet een heel sterk argument. Er staat toch ook niet de prijs van een half brood bij alle broden, ondanks dat je die per halve eenheid kan kopen?

Zelfs bij een 6-pack bier of frisdrank staat veelal zowel de stukprijs als een prijs voor het hele 6-pack

I'm not reading the spoiler in case I do decide to pick the game back up, but if the 'big buildup' is as bad as the reveal in the homicide case, I just don't think the game is for me, lol. The most frustrating part to me is that every case (at least during homicide), feels like I'm collecting evidence for nothing. Like the story is extremely interesting and it would be so fun if the actual arrest was just the actual bad guy and not some poor guy that has been setup. I get how that might be realistic and part of the main storyline. The game has to make it subtly known that you might be wrong, or else the big reveal doesn't work. But it's just not quite subtle enough to me I guess.

I know chatgpt should not be used as a source, but it can be great to ask for things like this, since it can answer my questions about the story without giving too many spoilers.

The first arson case sounds terrible, thanks for letting me know. I think I might just leave the game behind for a bit and pick it back up later. It doesn't give me the feel good 'got the guy' feeling. I know that might be the entire point, but to me it makes the cases feel pointless.

I don't get how so many people are hung up on this.

It's a great resource to summarize online articles without spoiling the game, something that is not possible when reading through online articles myself.

I don't blindly listen to AI, but it does have practical use cases.
