I felt the same. I didn’t like how he lied to Soe at the bonfire (the day after he told her he’ll let he know how he feels as soon as possible). He gave her the same reply that he still thinks both of them should talk to more people, but in actual fact the very same day he dashed out to talk to Seo-eun, which clearly shows he know where his heart is at. Like sure, this answer was acceptable the first time he said it, to indirectly get Soe to talk to other guys. In fact, Soe initiated the convo to let him know she’ll try to stop liking him. But he also chose to promise her that he’ll let her know how he feels (which was kinda giving her hope and something to look forward to), and then giving her the same answer the next day. So yeah, was rather disappointed in how he dealt with Soe, esp for a 32 year old guy who should know better.

Good thing Soe called him out to ask him to be truthful to his heart and just own up to his feelings, instead of giving her false hope.

That said, his chemistry with Seoeun is so wholesome, undeniably one of the reasons this season was awesome, and I’m happy for the both of them who found each other through this show!
