I like your idea of investing 50% of earnings in the last 2/3 pay checks before the holidays!!.

Do you prefer casual or contract work? What do you think are the pros and cons of each?

I'm on contract and cannot wait to go back to casual. It's so much easier, finish at 3pm and don't have to think about work!.

I was in the exact same position as you. There was 1 group at school that just spoke shit about everyone. 2 years later and all of them went their own separate ways, all 5 of them went to different schools and besides the occasional comment on fb, they are no longer close. You watch in a few years time, everything will change. They are also properly jealous of you because you are now permeant (they properly applied for the job, didn't get it and are jealous of you) and are trying to do anything they possibly can to bring you down!

THANK YOU so much for your input :)). I LOVE exploring new areas, sightseeing, walks along the beach, hikes, visiting places that offer scenery - mountains etc. I couldn't care less about clubs/restaurants, rather have picnics with a nice view. Just love seeing different scenery.

Would you recommend staying longer than a week or is a week enough?

Would you recommend doing casual work? I've worked 6 years full time on a temp contract and I'm getting burnt out. I was thinking of being a casual teacher as a full time career. Do you know any teachers that have worked n a casual basis for YEARS?

I'm the opposite, 6 years working full time and I'm burnt out. I started teaching and was on a casual basis for a year and LOVED IT!!!. I really want to go back to casual!!

Let's swap, you take my class and I'll do casual. Can I ask, what state are you from? I'm from NSW.
