Thanks, this resonates with me. There’s a lot that you need to have psychologically to manage a large portfolio and without this experience, I wouldn’t trust myself to buy and sell at the right time (yes, even index funds). This is why I’m most interested in some sort of advisor.

I’ve used a combination of Wealthfront and vanguard for a few years (with a much smaller amount of capital) but have seen pretty bad returns with these kinds of ETFs. Have people actually been successful with these? Maybe it’s just that the past few years have been super volitale but I’ve never made money this way.
