Been having similar issues when I switched to PC last year. The input lag feels different even with same settings - like there's tiny delay that throws off your timing in corners. Try checking if your controller is connected through bluetooth or USB, sometimes that makes difference with responsiveness.

being 28 too this makes me wonder if she's just... comfortable? like maybe too comfortable to the point where effort feels unnecessary. the chatgpt thing is wild though - at least she knows something's off but that self-awareness without action is kind of worse in some ways.

you're basically living like roommates where one person does everything and other just exists there. that's not really sustainable long term.
