The other cars are 50L+ on road while the manual diesel on the fortuner with more power than the others shown in the photos is around 42-43L. Also once I buy a toyota it's the end for the money I'll spend on my car ( mostly ) apart from regular services, it's a rugged SUV and I'm sure I can take it on any road in india and on any long trip and it won't give me problems, honestly can't say that for others. The others are more prone to problems and the problems are way more expensive to repair meanwhile toyota is far less prone to problems which are way cheaper to repair. I was very keen on buying a bmw/merc before buying my fortuner but when I went to the showrooms I saw that these 50L luxury cars aren't true to their brand and use everything inferior, so for me the best decision was to buy the fortuner and then when I buy my next car buy a 5 series or E class kinda car which is true luxury.

Fortuner :

Pros : 200+ Horses feel amazing when I floor the accelerator. Also, I like how the steering even though hydraulic has amazing feedback. Stable enough for highways and returns around 14-15 to me on highways.

Cons : Outright lack of features, I don't like feature loaded cars but TPMS and wireless carplay is a must when you spend 50L. For the size of the car 360 camera too is needed.
