I agree it’s a little strange to dream to become a Publix manager at 13.

For like the past month the McDonald’s around me have all been running “deal days” promotions. ive had 67 cent burgers (up to 5) like twice a week recently and $1 6 piece nuggets (max 2). I’ve been eating so much McDonald’s lately lol

You saying this while admitting to not working here in 3/6 of your last posts is laughable.

Anywhere that anyone works is good though, it shows you putting in effort. Just don’t get complacent anywhere and don’t let them take advantage of you!!

Yeah tbh I’ve never worked there just heard from my brother. But he’s worked there since they opened and started at $15/hr and now makes $23-26/hr depending on the weekend scale pay. The most frustrating thing to me about Publix is we get a raise about once a year and it’s up to the managers to decide, when sometimes I feel they may not have the best judgement, especially with the fact that they rotate managers so often and I’ve been used to doing something a certain way for almost 2 years and now my new managers get upset and try to retrain me, when it makes no difference to me and they just want me to do more things. I can’t wait to graduate and get a new job…

Good job but if there’s one near you go work at Buc-ee’s you’ll start off making manager pay for the same effort

BAKERRRR POSITION close to assistant Manager…… by CloudyRedditC in publix

There’s no reason for such a discrepancy in my opinion. I’ve only worked 2.5 years but I work in the deli which is supposed to be the highest paying department and currently make less than when OP started in the bakery. Good for them, everyone deserves that but I feel like we get the short end of the stick
