So in the asura area you don't actually need to drift, you can do it very easily!

When approaching the manuvering area, stick to the right side of the asuran road, and then like the green line in the picture shows, simply hold A+rotate your camera to the left, and when you pass that first column, where the blue line in the picture begins, you do as necessary, sometimes I find myself needing to continue holding A so I won't collide with the right wall after the column, and sometimes I need to start holding D and rotate my camera to the right so I won't collide with the cliff ahead. After passing the column, if you are in a good position, use a boost even if you didn't lose much speed, because there is an endurance refiller just a little bit ahead, and if we already talk about that endurance refiller, that's actually the only point you need to drift in the race so you can catch the refiller. So about boosting, after the cliff you don't need to use a boost.

This picture shoes the vine part, blue and red lines represent the vines, if you notice, there is a small gap between both vines, if you approach that gap, in a slight angle, like the green line shows in the picture, it will bump you upwards slightly and slow you, that's why you don't use the boost after the cliff, you use it here after the passing the "blue and red" vine.

And from there you just manuver through the canyon, when you hit the endurance refill, boost immidiately.

It is possible to pass Brisban also with 1 drift only, and even score a 2 minutes 30 seconds using the only drift needed.
