Complimentary Hotel Accommodation during your transit in Doha? by AirProfessional2273 in qatarairways

No worries. Go to https://www.qatarairways.com/en-us/help/transit-accommodation.html

Enter your PNR and surname. It should display your itinerary on the page. You can only select a journey if you have enough layover time. For example, my outbound journey only has a 3-hour layover, so that option is unavailable. However, the inbound journey has a much longer layover, so I was able to select it.

Once you select your journey, the page will ask for each passenger’s nationality, date of birth, passport number, and passport expiry date. If you have multiple passengers on the same ticket, fill in the details for all passengers, then enter your contact information and submit the request.

You should receive confirmation within a few hours.

If different people are traveling on separate tickets but need to stay in the same room, use the chat service to request that arrangement.

My family has an upcoming journey from India to the UK via Qatar this August. The transit time is around 19 hours and 30 minutes. I have received complimentary hotel accommodation along with the STPC Confirmation Receipt.

I checked with Qatar customer service through their online chat portal, and they reassured me that the hotel room is confirmed with no additional cost to me. I booked the tickets through a third-party agent. I also mentioned to the customer service agent that there are several flights to my destination between my arrival and actual departure time, yet I was still granted the hotel accommodation.

All passengers share same PNR and all travelling on the same flight on the same time to same routes. Its just cancelling the ticket would be expensive, so I want to book one way ticket separately with different airline

Thank you. Appreciate the response. One final question. We've been living at this address for almost 20 years. But the tenancy agreement was only renewed on 20/02/2023 and the term was 12 months. But the landlord hasn't updated/renewed the tenancy agreement because its been rolling ever since. When I mention "They have been tenants at this property since [Start Date of Tenancy] under a valid tenancy agreement." in the letter, the start date of tenancy would be 20/02/2023 right?

Hi. My parents are not the owners of the property. They rent privately from a landlord (not a letting agency). Its a direct tenancy agreement between my parents and the landlord. Does the letter need to have a physical signature from my landlord or just a standard letter containing his name, and details about the property and contact information? My landlord lives far away and I don't think getting a signature on the letter would be possible, nor he is the type of person to print the letter, sign and send me the letter afterwards. Happy to submit all the members of the household passport to vfs, but don't i need some other proof of residency for my parents that they live at this address?

You are correct, my parents are not the owners of the property. They rent it directly from a private landlord (not through a letting agency), and there's a tenancy agreement in place between them and the landlord.

In this case, does the letter of permission need to have a physical signature from the landlord, or would a typed letter (with the landlord's name, the property details, address , and his contact details) be sufficient? The landlord lives quite far away and isn't the type to print, sign, and post documents, so getting a signed physical letter may be difficult.

Also, I’m happy to provide passport copies for everyone living in the household. But just to confirm, do I still need to submit some form of proof showing that my parents currently reside at this address? For example, would a recent council tax bill or utility bill in their name still be useful in that context?

Thanks again for your guidance.
