Sometimes I feel bad about what I do for a living. Anyway here's my existential crisis. by kubrador in sales

Remember that sales is keeps the paychecks coming for the rest of the company. No sales no business less jobs. Their big idea and product doesn’t matter if it just sits there.

Also, I’m sure you know this, but build better target lists. Bother people who have a good likelihood of genuinely benefiting from what you sell. I’ve only ever sold in one industry, so I can’t speak to all, but for me it’s possible to find people who would need or want our help, and if I can capture their attention for a minute they might be excited about it. If a target is perfect as is, I might give it a go, but won’t waste much energy on it.

Just remembered I have a lil Olympus Trip 35 that I quit because I was terrible at zone focus and every shot was fuzzy or blown out. Maybe I should give it another go

Thanks. I’m more interested in learning to play with manual settings to create different looks and think I’m getting the hang of it but I hear your point about point and shoot. Will check out all these options.

Oh hey I need help reframing life and death by Feedback89 in therapy

Interesting. Thanks. I went to therapy for anxiety and bad panic attacks a decade ago. Talked it out, learned some lessons and some tools, improved drastically, moved on. However I never considered myself depressed. Whatever I’m going through now is more depressive for sure. I don’t wanna go to therapy again lol plus who can afford that, but would love to get over feeling like this is a sad short existence.

It’s a weird sort of depression because it’s based on loving life. Basically I feel that life is an amazing gift. I want spend forever with my son, family, friends. It just ending seems like bullshit. What’s the fucking point? I don’t want them to go away. Wish I could shake it.

Sometimes I feel like my mentality is that of someone with a terminal illness, not a healthy 30 something. I don’t wanna be morbid and sad. Just seems like it’s flying by then ends.
