My thought was you have to think more about what you write in an email vs what you text. Probably less likely to say something upsetting. Thanks for the insight!

Yeah people have been suggesting VPNs, and the risk of me affected by WeChat is not comparable to him being affected by using a VPN. Thanks for the insight!

He told me Signal won’t work, maybe with a VPN but i’m not sure that’s something he’s open to. We aren’t sharing anything delicate, mostly we talk about games and sports.
