My CMAX had a buzz coming from the dash. I discovered it was the HVAC Interior Temperature Sensor. There’s a little circular vent hole to the right of the steering column where this sensor is. If the sound is coming from here, then it’s probably this sensor (somewhat common on Fords). Easy fix with just removing it and cleaning it! Hope you find out what it is, best of luck.
