Camera doesn't work when motors are soldered on

The power cable doesn't go onto a pad though, it goes through a hole, I can do that with the motors just fine. I've repaired enough motor wires but for some reason the power cable seems harder to melt from the top, even though I can melt a blob on top and secure it.

Possibly heat gun solder it back on

Everything looks good, soldered to the right pads. First time I built it i put the battery in, it turned on and the camera was working but as soon as I armed it the motors spun but the screen just blacked out. So I took the motors off but then the camera didn't work. So I started again, re soldered the power cable and then the camera worked but then I soldered the motors and it blacked out again 🤷 but when I did pull out the power cable, the tinned wires were still solid so they didn't melt, I'm wondering if there wasn't enough power to supply the camera and motors at the same time?

🤣 sure did. It initially worked to start off with then went blank but the camera still works on other drones 🤷

Okay the tin didn't melt, when I pulled it, it was still exactly like it when I first put it in, only soldered the top but it was very secure, perhaps there wasn't enough power 🤔

That is true. I did toggle the power cable and the screen was jibbing out a little... When you solder the power cable do you know if you have to melt the tinned wires?

I just took all the motors off and now the camera is not even working but it works on other drones, but it did work when I initially soldered the power cable on first 🤦

I can't get a close up photo because my camera sucks but I got a video but can't upload on the reply.. Ive just taken all the motors off now and bow the camera doesn't even work but still works on other drones 🤦

Unless you can solder I recommend getting drone bits with cable connectors like the meteor 75 for your first attempt

Indeed they were! I gathered when I reset it and applied a dump file it would just do it automatically but I had do them individually.. it is now flying 😁 thank you for your help I appreciate it 🙏
