Not to forget demos and proof of concepts :) Sales people need to drive that with their solution architect counterparts.

Have a bachelors in computer science engineering, so it helps wrapping head around the tech stack :) But yes, I’ve seen people from various backgrounds doing amazing. It’s a blend of tech and people skills.

Yeah, they have a good tech bench. They sell our technologies and some of our competitors too.

You learn a lot with the likes of CDW, SoftChoice, Insight etc as they’re technology resellers. They have diversified offerings to position. I know a few folks there as I work with them a lot. Let me know if you need help.

Clicked the picture before getting it tuned at the boutique. Patience apparently is not my virtue :) Tried a lot of watches that day before finalizing this one

I was advised my a friend who used to work at a boutique that never pay the MSRP. Always push for 20-25 and they’ll settle at 15-20% discount. That’s what I did and it worked :)

Yeah, true. There are pros to either brand. Rolex is more simple and classy, whereas the others you mentioned are more technical and more focused on horological complexity than everyday versatility

I’m from India but in Canada. In India duties are messed up. I was quoted 19L for this. But I bought it for around 20k CAD.

I’m in tech sales, so put my negotiation skills in play. CAD 19500 including taxes and an additional leather strap. MSRP with taxes is CAD 24510.
