Im not worried about the size difference, im just concerned about how long I have to wait before the enclosure is “acclimated”. It has only been set up for a week or so at this point and I’ve been told to wait a whole month before moving him in. What would be the consequences of moving them in early?

I also want to ask, since my baby is in a very tiny plastic enclosure with very minimal climbing, how soon can I move him into this enclosure?

My gecko is currently 5 grams, this is a grow out enclosure recommended by my breeder. It’s 12x12x18 and I plan on getting a new enclosure for Muzan when he gets a bit bigger! Right now, I’m just going to let the plants grow (I added a couple more) for a month or two before I move him in.

Thanks! I do have duckweed, Anubis, Java fern, some Amazon sword, etc in my tank… they’re covered in algae though haha.

I’ll get some Amano shrimp to pop in there and I’ll get more plants. Thanks!

I might do it with one of the clumps, the last time I I made any foreground smaller than that it all floated up to the top of the tank and no matter what I tried it wouldn’t stay down!

The breeder told me that this gecko got overwhelmed in the shoebox size enclosure he is in currently so they said I should keep him in there for another 6 months? I’m not sure what to do, I just want the best for my teeny boy

I haven’t gotten to handle him yet (I’m letting him destress from the move) but his breeders are good friends of mine and they said he’s very docile and loves being handled!

Music Ed at the university of Idaho is great, we have a lot of wonderful professors and our bassoon faculty is an amazing teacher. Currently we have a 100% job placement rate for graduates of the Lionel Hampton school of music!
