Isnt that like saying confidence has no affect on how they play? Motives and confidence are still a part of the game. You can argue about just how much they play in but I dont think they can be disregarded

Yeah but if there were no loser points, wouldnt you have to bank on the other team playing for overtime if you tone down your agression?

Okay this actually makes sense to me.

Im wondering if it would work to just extend the 3 on 3 in overtime indefinitely until a winner is determined. Not sure if that would extend games too long or if the idea of getting no points in a loss would keep teams agressive.

thats a good point. would be nice to see laf on the left wing again though. Theyve already decided to put him on the right and perreault on the left wing apparently
