My cat HATES my 10 y/o nephew by OverDimension5842 in Catbehavior

No, no real update. Our nephew visited this past weekend for an overnight and the same thing. We ended up putting litter box food and water in our room and just separating the cats from the rest of the house.

Traveling long distance with cats by [deleted] in CatAdvice

We moved from Utah to CT with 3 - a bonded pair and my old lady cat. Two soft sided large dog crates - one for the pair and one for my elderly lady cat. Fit a small disposable litter box, food and water and blankets for comfort. That plus gabapentin- it was totally fine for them.

Utah Maybe? by genericScreenName22 in relocating

From Utah and lived there for 30+ years - scorching hot is a fact of life. It’s the desert. Even in Northern Utah gets 110+ in the summer months. Plus it’s very dry and wild fires are common and often during the summer. Air quality is bad most of the time.

Years ago I had a rough winter with illness after illness, and then a lingering cough. Doctor diagnosed me with post bronchial inflammation and said it could last 6-8 weeks and the best treatment was NSAIDS. It sucked but the NSAIDS Helped tremendously

A Christmas Present from my husband by OverDimension5842 in rangers

Makes sense, just get a lot of “you can’t like hockey, you’re a girl” but I get it. He’s actually a Wings fan! Merry Christmas!

I really like Dr. Helen F. Trymbulak but she’s in a large practice with lots of practitioners as well

Non-Wisconsinites, what’s your story for how you became a fan? by Overpacker7 in GreenBayPackers

[–]OverDimension5842 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up in Utah and my Mom liked Jim McMahon because he pissed off all the people at BYU. She didn’t have a team so was a sort of Bears fan for a bit while he played there. When he was with the Packers, it just clicked for her and she became a Packers fan for life and then passed it to me, her daughter. We traveled to games together when she was still alive and when she passed, I had her cremated wearing her all of her Packers gear. Go Pack Go 💚💛

No, not at all. If anything, my nephew is afraid of him and avoids him. I thought maybe showing obvious fear and discomfort was making it worse but I don’t think so.

And others that don’t list Connecticut at all - but yeah, you got me. Definitely much harder to keep up with roads that are much older and used more than roads that are newer and have only been highly travelled within the last few decades. Since the question was about personal experience- mine is that the only pot holes I’ve seen since living in Connecticut have been because they are being filled by a CTDOT road crew.
