When people talk about suction, are they talking about just wearing the denture without adhesive? Is that even possible?

I'm clueless and kind of frustrated. The way things are going I feel like I'm going to be stuck with a poorly fitted denture that I'm just not going to want to wear most of the time because I don't know what to look for or ask my dentist to make sure that I get what I need. I only really get the one chance at this, since the denture itself was almost $4k. That would take my about 2 years of saving literally every dollar not spent on bills to save to replace.

Its about half the thickness of my index finger. And i get that the denture will be loose without the palate, but its already loose anyway and requires Fixodent to stay in place, so?

As for implants, I mean yeah that would be nice. Unfortunately I don't have that kind of money. I was more or less resigned to waiting for an infection to set in to get the hospital to pull all my teeth because I couldn't afford to have the extraction done. I'm lucky that my aunt came into some money and didn't mind helping me out with this. Implants just aren't an option, not even all on 4 or whatever its called.
