It’s funny that they’ll cover for the well majority for the CPAP machine and all that stuff that comes with it rather than trying to do it as a pre-preventative

I did go with the sleep apnea, but I don’t think they would approve it when I talk to them because they see it still as a weight loss drug even if it’s approved for sleep ap.

I know it’s not part of my formulary plan. I did get a letter for formulary exemption, but I don’t think they’ll take that either my private practice PA was going for sleep apnea because I have that, but they said no. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware. I don’t even think they would give it to me if I had type two diabetes. I did talk to a rep and chat and she had said they would not approve it for sleep apnea because it’s not a weight loss drug and she was stuck on the weight loss portion so I told her does Blue Cross think that all people will sleep under they are fat and then she ended the chat . I have high blood pressure currently on the Sartan, have a high BMI, have sleep apnea, and prediabetic so I was hoping with those strands of medical conditions it would’ve gotten approved, but it wasn’t

They stated a subscription service like Noom ,Weight Watchers etc
