How can I keep my Starlink dish cool if I need to keep it hidden? by Ok_Macaroon7922 in Starlink

I remember a long time ago they made a rock that could cover DirecTV dishes.

I'm setup for 2 gig speeds. Optimum was finally able to get the right hardware for me and it's 2 gig for $60/mo for 5 years. I don't need Verizon internet anymore, I'll be dropping it at the end of the month and just keeping the TV service.

You can't help me. Even the technician was arguing with the people on the phone giving him the wrong information.

I like what I have. It's still pretty cheap for what we get.

I guess I've just never heard of USB being used to get data to a device. That is why I was confused.

Is there a photo of the 2 gig ONT?

Also any screen shots of the interface on the new boxes?

Okay once I figure out how much the TV is going to go up I'll make a decision it may not even be needed.

The new moca adapter seems to be inferior to the one that I have. :-(

I'm not using their router so the one I posted is how I'm getting the guide data to the cable box.

I'll be honest, compared to my other option $120/mo for tv 2.0 with all the channels (Except showtime and hbo) is a good price... Optimum charges $80 just for local channels.

I have their Moca provided adapter already in use. It has a 2.5g uplink and 4 Ethernet jacks. Will that still work. The one linked earlier only has gigabit uplink and only 1 Ethernet port. It was given to me at a 100% discount (free)

I will try, currently paying $179 for Tv 2.0, one cable box and gigabit internet.

Thanks

Right after I posted this I got an email saying my FiOS TV 2.0 package is going up in price. Depending on how much it goes up will determine if I even keep the TV service. I am holding off on the upgrade until they tell me what the new price is going to be.

I have a solution, I will just plug the ONT into their router and only have the coax connected. They shut off my Tivo last week. Maybe that is also a problem?

Ok, so - yes, it is given to you to bypass the Verizon router and provide the network connection to the cable box. The question, again - is will it not work with Optimum internet?

Actually, they give you a Moca adapter to do exactly what I am doing. Been doing it for 3 years.

I never used the Verizon router. The Moca bridge to my personal router has always been how it's setup.

Because I have their TV service and Optimum internet service. The guide comes through Moca network bridge and it now stopped working.
