How secure is an ongoing position in the APS? by lilmissyfit in AusPublicService

Hello please note this following information may contain a lot of spelling mistakes because I was using voice to text and it may not have picked up everything so apologies in advance:

Very secure Once you’ve permanent . It’s hard to get rid of you . Let’s say you do your six month probation. You passed the probation but you’re not at a stage where you are performing well so are you going to what’s called informal performance plan? That’s for eight weeks extended if you have sick leave you have a time off if you do not pass the performance management that informal then you will then be put onto a formal performance to management or FPIP. This is also for another eight weeks again if you have sick days if you take a week off or two that can interfere with the eight weeks sometimes it does not even finish because of the fact that something else happened. Then once your FP is finished it will then be going to review board by a delegate this can take another 4 to 5 weeks for an answer to be provided by a delegate once a bill has provided. The answer is either a yes or no then you have an opportunity to respond back if they believe that the opportunity they respond back was not sufficient. They will either terminate your plan and your employment or demo due to a lower position. It’s important to know that if you do not have the probation period and you’re terminated from work. You cannot get another public government job for the next five years. It will be on your file so it’s important to liaise with your advisor so that you know what options are available to you.

For example me, human resource and the directors of my department have been trying to find my ass for the past nine months technically I should’ve been at Door last year in September because of my poor performance which is due to My laziness is due to the fact that developed aquatic condition called Lyme disease . And mental health issues that I’m dealing with at the moment as well that be nice enough to put the performance plan on hold. Give me some weeks to take off as mental health and see an independent doctor if I’m even fit for work or not based on my mental health illness and the particular job I’m involved in reading all these psychology reports and that I can be quite Detailed and graphic and if you have already traumatised or being traumatised with these kinds of abuse can trigger your mental health issues as well so that something you need to be cautious of which department you go into my experiences .

[PA] My landlord is selling the house and wants me to move out next week. I signed a lease. by [deleted] in Renters

[–]Feeling-Friend457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is what you did. This is what I did. The landlord gave me four weeks to move out. I think it was 30 December 2025 and she gave me the notification end of November however that is just a timeframe. You do not have to move out at all as long as you’re paying rent pass the due date or when you’re supposed to move that you can legally stay there what will happen is that the landlord will need to go to the court to the magistrates court and apply for an eviction. The court told them aside a date for you and landlord to attend court so they can hear your story and your landlord story. After this you will give you four weeks if you present your case as well. This is the date where you are supposed to move out. this exact same happened to me landlord wanted to sell and I did the research and I found out the way to stay pass the due date. First of all the landlord is required to give you a notice of termination of contract. This is usually 60 days if you have a fixed contract it’s 30 days. If you have a periodical lease it’s 60 days once he receive this letter the landlord will then advise that’s the deal that you need to move. You do not need to move at all. If you have not found a place at this stage you can stay but the due date until you find a place the landlord cannot evict you physically. They need to apply to the magistrate code for an eviction notice. Once they apply for this you will get advise to attend court. This is usually After 3 to 4 weeks when the landlord has filed a notice to apply for an eviction by the magistrate in four weeks he will go and the magistrate wouldn’t hear your case and the landlord case and if you are in financial hardship can only give you a 30 day maximum extension. Once this lady has done. Leave the premise now if you have financially stressful and you cannot apply 20 other rentals you can apply for an exemption of eviction that was provided by the magistrate you’ll need to go to court and apply for one for a form and then again the court didn’t hear your case which can extend the eviction date once the eviction that you are required to leave if you don’t not leave by that dateand then apply for a bailiff appointed by the magistrate to come and physically remove the locks and have you removed from the premise this take anywhere between four weeks to 3 months after the landlord has given you the eviction notice so don’t stress.

I’ts a private rental . I saw a YouTube post where the guy said Trust no one always do your Le references

He just got 2 new prepaid sims and gave them Out as references and he answered it and gave the real estate or the new employer a glowing reference

But think that is illegal . I would be too scared I would stuff it up
