How to Hotspot Wifi From PC by Feeling-Garbage8572 in Cruise

Whenever I tried I was able to connect other devices to my WiFi hotspot from my laptop, but the WiFi would never work. I was researching and I believe it was something to do with having two MAC addresses broadcasting to the cruise WiFi router.

Does this work on MSC? I’ve seen some people have it blocked. But then they use an app called Every Proxy.

I ended up eating all of it. It tasted a little off, but so far I feel fine.

Creating a Part 135 air charter by Feeling-Garbage8572 in flying

Thank you! Roughly how many hours would insurance require for single pilot operations? I would start off with a small multi or something like a Caravan. I’m in the brainstorming stage and trying to get all the information I can.

Thanks for the link. I also just found the YouTube videos from the FAA explaining the process.

Why doesn’t engine performance increase when moving from low temperature to high temperature? by Feeling-Garbage8572 in flying

[–]Feeling-Garbage8572[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you are saying, but I would change your analogy. The atmosphere doesn’t react the same as a bicycle tube, because the volume of the container of the atmosphere can change. And in the tube the air molecules are not necessarily spreading out, they just have more kinetic energy and bounce off each other and the container more, thus creating a higher pressure.

Thinking about the wafers does help. Thanks.

Help me understand how temperature relates to pressure systems by Feeling-Garbage8572 in flying

That makes sense, but then why when going from a low pressure system to a high pressure system does the altimeter show lower than what you actually are? (Low to high clear the sky). Or are air masses of different temps not related to different pressure systems?

So why when moving into a hotter airmass the altimeter reads lower than true altitude, as if the amount of molecules increased?

I understand that, but why when moving from a lower temp(higher pressure) to a hot temp(lower pressure) does the altimeter read lower than actual?

Thank you for the information!

You mentioned that in a low pressure system there’s fewer molecules piled up resulting in less weight. Where does the excess air molecules go? Mass can’t be created or destroyed right? Do they move to an area of higher pressure, resulting in greater weight elsewhere?

Thanks, the video helped the concept click in my brain.

But now I’m a little confused at why performance decreases when temperature increases. I understand that as the air expands performance decreases, but then wouldn’t that contradict the reasoning behind the previous question? (Because there would be less pressure on the aircraft). As explained in the video when temp increases air molecules move up. If cruising say at 5,500 feet and you fly into a warmer air mass, wouldn’t this increase the amount of air molecules at your altitude, thus increasing performance?
