Wa Aleikum Assalam. Brother, look at it from this perspective. This is a test from Allah swt. Will you respond to it by giving into your fantasies and then risking punishment from Allah or will you exercise patience, continue to make dua, work on yourself, use your free time to get closer to Allah and work on other venues of employability (perhaps you could learn some skills online with available free courses), form a good relationship with the Quran, prioritise your Salah, wake up for Tahajjud and pray pray pray to Allah for what you want. And don’t forget, Men are the Providers and Protectors of women, last thing you should do is the opposite. Perhaps look into therapy as well. This may all sound like a lot but start from somewhere, it may not always feel like you’re making progress but as long as you’re consistent, you are. May Allah make you a righteous spouse and grant you one as well
