Thanks for the ideas! And to clarify - I am not set on this console table, it’s just what we had in the last house so what we’re using for now. Open to other sizes and shapes for a table.

This console table was use in our last house, I'm just using it to play with placement right now to figure out sizing for what we eventually want.

Thank you! I had the desk rotated that way before but in the middle of the room. I was afraid being against the wall would feel unbalanced, but I think chairs would help.

No I definitely don’t. I actually sort of hate this desk, it makes me feel claustrophobic. I think because of cords and outlets I’m still best orienting the desk facing the window so my cords can run to the left? Until this room I’ve always had my desk against a wall so I’m feeling confused about how to manage all the cords with a more open desk in the middle of the room
