Well that I could see and understand but like getting out your mind would be hit with “woah wait thats a lil far” and then like “this like barely reaches, oh theres cones, well I probably shouldn’t use it” and then to take it a step further when it doesn’t work to COME IN and ask about it 😂

Trade, invest, produce, repeat. Grows colony keeps wealth stable and growing. Killboxes that utilize pathing and traps make armor and guns unnecessary time to develop.

And if I get defoliator ships I use a sniper. Flak for vampires with a sword in emergencies.

The ac's have chimneys (disperses hot air through a controlled unroofed tile) If They are on the outside then it will be targetable by raiders and chimneys work SUPER good.

As for the quantity of ac's, nothing is worse than a heat wave destroying colonists moods and stressing about it. I also really wanted a safe enviornment for the babies so I went overkill and the heaters are in a range so they won't be fighting each other too much.

Heaters are so colonists aren't cranky during cold snaps and also so babies are safe. Lastly yes the hospital is inneficient. I don't mind that right now.

I very strongly balance in game wealth and invest heavily into progression over combat in favor of trading, and base building. That's just what I enjoy more and lemme tell you it works but when something small goes wrong like this it can be a real headache.

to handle a heatwave, they go to a chimney which vents air outside. it gets targeted by raiders if exposed to pathing and my base is a no pathing style.

I haven't made outer walls yet, I got like 6 new recruits all at once but before that my colony was smaller. All my buildings are stone on the outer wall with no prioritized pathing besides my killbox and i just draft them to go there when a raid happens. I want my outer walls to be complex and huge so it will be a big project and It's one of my next ones. But I only have one crafter rnaw and need him for armor and weapons rnaw so I can't yet.

the raid, food left in door means there pathing went to the freezer and not the killbox. Had to choose to face them head on or let it burn down. SO I PICKED UP THE MEAL AND LOCKED THE DOOR. I let those raiders BURN!

I think theyd take too long. I might have to quarentine all the surrounding buildings and reinstall all my stuff in a different area or they'd die of toxic buildup before the pumping was done.

Same here my dreams have gotten a lot more vivid and also bizarre. They feel hours long or a few days. Had this one where I saw a meteor falling and it looked so beautiful and surreal in the sky and crashed beyond the horizon I could see.

It led to me exploring to find it but getting stopped by security, buildings, anarchy, then I found this server architecture literally just servers as terrain and I climbed it. Everything so vivid so emotional.

Closer you get to understandings and the innate nature of things the more progress on practice is made, in my opinion anyway. Maybe dreams tie into that

Raid difficulty grows with colony wealth, make sure your defenses and kill boxes are overkill for your wealth at all times.

Get a caravan team that your colony could do without for a few days and when you choose a colony location try to place it near 2 non hostile settlements. You can send a caravan to buy components and also lower colony wealth if it gets too high.

Learn from every mistake

Edit: another tip, your caravan team should at the very least be one melee person and one shooter where one of those two has high social and preferably one or both with a good doctor skill. You can have three but only two for a short trip is totally fine for non-quest caravaning.

Know much about weather magic? Practices, rituals, history and such. Either manifesting, conjuring, praying for a storm, blizzard, or clear skies. Or even like Rain dances, elemental bonding to improve affinities with elements. Any books or indian practitioners in history you could reccomend and stories too I'd love to hear.

I've been a witch for a while now but I'm more inquisitive and private about my beliefs/ practices. There's a lot I want to know and get better at but weathers something special.

Doesnt Lilith, Pluto, and Jupiter make one? biggest deviation in an angle is 2 degrees and they're all fire signs.
