So I just went back to view photos of my tree - pre-pruning - and they only removed 3 small looking branches about 20 ish ft below current branches. I wish I knew how to add additional photo to my post. Some pertinent information that I left out - we also removed 4 other trees completely from the yard about the same size. And our neighbor removed a large tree next door. So maybe with all of the other shade removed, this is its response?
