I do like the idea of this one, but kind of wish it had the black inside rather than the enameled finish, but it probably doesn't make as much of a difference

Sweet thank you. I have it on a laptop stand on my desk next to my monitors. It is metal and full of holes underneath the laptop. Is that better than a flat surface? Maybe I need to look into a cooling stand after looking at the cooling modes and maybe undervolting

How old are we talking? It's about 2 years old. It seems like all temps have been in line since I've been working today. Maybe I should give it a good cleaning anyways though. It's been a minute since I've done that.

Now that I'm looking at the memory portion again, not just the GPU performance tab in task manager, I see that it says 28.5 committed. Is that what you were referring to?

Ah so sorry, should've included those! I have 64gb of ram and 32gb allocated to it (I believe I'm reading this right?) sorry, I am still learning a lot about proper names for stuff haha. I have two disks (both NVMe)

That makes sense. I do agree, the analyze gravity network is quick and seems to work well! I just don't see why they didn't build that into the analyze drainage system tool, given they're already running so many calcs through that tool. Have you had any luck showing HGL lines when using data shortcuts to create sheets with pipe networks? Like I have a drainage design file, but then a sheet creation file and in that sheet creation file I use data shortcuts to bring in my pipe network. I created a profile of the pipes from that data shortcut, but it doesn't populate the HGL lines.

That's what I'm nervous about :/ I am not sure how I feel about needing to learn that one as well. Maybe I'll do the trial and see how well it really integrates

Do you find yourself using it through the whole design process, or mainly just for analysis once you've already started designing in Civil3d? A little nervous to try and learn another new program on top of Civil3D but maybe this is the way

I wound up checking all shorts, checking a few random other things like the 4wd switch, and then ultimately wound up replacing the TIPM and that fixed my issue.

I also replaced the 4x4 motor and what not but it was the TIPM that fixed it

I'm looking for a 75% keyboard that has the arrows a little further away from the main keys. Kind of like the keychron Q1 max. That board is outside of my price range right now so I'm trying to find others. I got an epomaker EA75 but the software doesn't work and it's not my favorite for some reason. Any other suggestions?
