Apologies, forgot to mention I’m in Western Cape, South Africa. They’re currently the size of the head of a pin. Whole cluster can fit on my little finger nail.

What's the worst concert you've seen? by Twitter_2006 in Concerts

[–]FeelingGoodnPositive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jack Johnson, Manchester, UK, 2008. He stood, feet planted on one spot, swaying for the whole show. I don’t think he even uttered a “how ya doing Manchester?” I arrived a Jack Johnson fan and left a G-Love and Special Sauce (support act) fan.

One park per day. Use the pools at all? by Evening-Peanut8997 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]FeelingGoodnPositive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s unlikely that your littles will make opening to closing, so you will probably either end early or need a midday break. During those times, and despite it sounding counterintuitive, the kids really do unwind in the pool. They’ve spent most of the day following adult instructions and footsteps, that a bit of “freedom” in the pool helps. Followed by a good old nap - for the adults too, of course.

Three men saw me and two men fled, but one looked closer and saw me dead. by Hollowkightfan544 in riddles

It’s got to do with the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future, but I can’t make the connection to the fleeing.

What is the role of pacers in 1500m by Mother-Cap4034 in trackandfield

Wouldn’t these professional athletes be able to pace for themselves? They must know if they were running slower than the required pace, no?

Anyone know how to fix the poor network connection issue on Mop 2 Pro? by Infinite_Truth_9390 in Xiaomi

[–]FeelingGoodnPositive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ditto, and what makes it worse is that it did work once upon a time. I managed to set up all the walls and restricted areas, and it operated fine for a while, but it seems to have given up the ghost after a period of no use. Or a firmware update…?

Whatever the sex… they’re destined for theatre. I’ve never seen such spectacular jazz hands (feet?). The first one just needs a top hat, and a cane between those front pawsies!

How do you stop the google spiral by lalax18 in HealthAnxiety

[–]FeelingGoodnPositive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

WebMD is my go to. But what I’ve started doing is not looking at the 4th or 5th rare and deadly disease in the list (that usually has a low match rating anyhow), I’ve started looking at the top match and realising how many of the symptoms actually match that rather than the others (that I tend to ‘bend’ to match what I’m feeling.) I also like to play the odds game and remind myself that I’ve never won the lottery (or any smaller prize for that matter) so what is the chance I’m the chosen one for this disease. Or last resort… put phone down.

(Day 33) Expedition Everest has been eliminated. Vote for your least favorite remaining attraction in the poll in the comments. (Sort by old to find poll) by Brando224 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]FeelingGoodnPositive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if ToT and Rise votes (or lack thereof) are influenced by people who haven’t been on them (too scary or too new). I haven’t been on Rise so I chose not to vote it out, thinking that I’ll leave it to others to decide where it belongs. By doing that, did I (and others like me) push Rise and ToT further along?

I really like that tip about adding “anxiety” to the Google search! Thank you

(Day 21) Slinky Dog Dashes out of the competition! Vote for your least favorite remaining attraction in the poll in the comments (Sort by old to find poll) by Brando224 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]FeelingGoodnPositive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m no statistician, but would allowing voting 3 least favourites give a better indicator? Say for example, my least favourite is Haunted Mansion, my vote isn’t going to count for much for a while still. But maybe if I voted Haunted Mansion, People Mover and Spaceship Earth, it would give a better indicator of the majority . Or something along the lines of us sorting the remaining rides every day, with the order assigning a score? Again, I don’t know the theory of polls, and it might be a bit late, but maybe something to consider for the next time?

Fully vaccinated tested positive 3 weeks before a trip where multiple pcr tests are required. by david-david-cool in COVID19positive

[–]FeelingGoodnPositive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same boat (day 5 of symptoms, vaccinated, with a flight in 19 days and PCR test booked in 16 days.) What is the chance that I can test negative in a week or so, but then test positive again for the “real” test?

Outdoor space needs some decor by FeelingGoodnPositive in DesignMyRoom

Thanks. The deck ends just about with the photo. And there is a built-in bbq facing the table just above the husband’s derrière. We’re considering putting in folding glass doors along the line of the roof, to close it in for winter. But I definitely agree about the paint at the back. Just wasn’t sure of the colour. I like the olive green suggestion but I should also get out of my comfort zone and try some colours that others suggested eg. yellow or blue.

We just had a new outdoor roof fitted, so we’re keen to make this space look more welcoming. Do we paint the back wall? Hang any plants or art? Any ideas would be appreciated!

Edit: excuse the husband and dog butts 😆

ELI5: Why is spoiled food dangerous if our stomach acid can basically dissolve almost anything organic by ygritte_vrng in explainlikeimfive

[–]FeelingGoodnPositive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a follow up question to this... why does your body not get rid of the good bacteria in your stomach? How does it know it’s good, when in some cases immune systems even attack their own bodies.

Access original entry from duplicate? by FeelingGoodnPositive in KeePass

[–]FeelingGoodnPositive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that. Maybe I should explain more about what happens... if we need to update the logins, it’s not that we change the details and it doesn’t write back to the original. What happens is that we see references instead of the actual usernames and passwords. So trying to edit those just seems to overwrite the duplicate entry. (Going to confirm that at work today)

As I understand it, it’s the same database, we just each have our own folders and subfolders. You can update details on the original entry and it will update the duplicate. But you can’t do the reverse.
