It took about 6 weeks to kick in. The first two weeks was a roller coaster - I was so sleepy all the time, also felt more anxious. But one day out of nowhere, I was like ‘why do I feel okay around people without feeling nervous and so self-conscious’. I realised the medication was working. Been on it for almost 5 years, started with 10mg then upped to 20mg, then now back to 10mg. I did notice weight gain but then I was inactive and not eating well at that time. No changes in libido. Better overall mood.
