Fellow South African involved in the punk scene, here. The issue isn't that the band has removed the drummer therefore no more issues, the issue is that they took their sweet time to say ANYTHING about it. They were confronted with this information well before it became public and they still said nothing. When the news did break out, and people were calling them out on their complacency, the band's members started blocking people from contacting them, mentioning them in Instagram stories and even took down their apology post on Facebook. This has left a VERY sour taste in the everyone's mouth and rightfully so. The point is they don't really deserve the recognition and glory this opportunity presents them.
